Tim May

Co-Manager

Tim May has vast management experience in the food industry, and has been an advocate of social injustice, He has worked with many volunteer organizations helping those who face injustice. Tim is also a member of the Lions Club (Stony Stratford), who’s mandate is “to serve”.

Debbie Fletcher

Co-Manager

Debbie Fletcher has over 30 years’ experience in the Public Sector. She has outstanding organisational and management skills with an excellent record of working in high pressure and demanding environments. She believes that everyone deserves equal economic, political, and social rights and opportunities.

Volunteering

Volunteers are essential to the work that we do, from working in the Larder and Café to collecting food. If you are looking to help with the food waste environmental problem and the cost-of-living crisis, come and see us. We want to talk to you.

Our Services

Hub larder

The Hub Larder is a membership scheme that provides surplus food from the supermarkets that would otherwise go to waste and provides affordable access to healthy food every week. The Community Larder is not “means tested” and is therefore open to everyone.

Community Fridge

Water Eaton Community Fridge enables people to meet up, share food and prevent fresh food from going to waste. It is free and open to everyone. Come to the Water Eaton Community Fridge to get some health nutritious food and help us to stop food waste in Milton Keynes.

Soup for the Soul Café

The Soup for the Soul Café is a lovely place to meet people and to chat. The Cafe serves hot and cold drinks and a light lunch. There are also informative talks from services such as Citizens Advice, Diabetes UK, Stop Smoking, who provide information about the services they offer. Money Lifeline attend every week providing help for people in debt or financial crisis.

Support Services

We listen to our members’ needs and concerns and invite the support services that members want to hear about. We provide a supportive and nurturing environment, offering assistance and resources to empower individuals on their journey.
